The genre the book fits into. (This means the category, like young adult fiction, mystery, fantasy, science fiction, vampire fiction, etc. Many books fit into more than one genre. Why does the book fit the genres you claim it does? (200 words)
I think this book is a young-adult vampire romance fantasy fiction. vampire: the main character Edward Cullen is a member of vampire family and the book talks about how he falls in love with Bella. Romance: the definition of romance is that the characters in the book must focus on relationship and must have an “emotionally satisfying and optimistic ending”. In twilight, Bella and Edward falls in love. And at the end of serious they get married and have a child. Fantasy: fantasy means that something that is not real, not going to happen in a real life. Sure, there won’t be vampire in a real world. Young-adult fiction: is fiction written, published, or marketed to adolescents and young adults which is between 12-18,while some publishers may market young adult literature to as low as age ten or as high as age twenty-five. this book is so famous in my friends around me, some of them said that twilight is their favorite book.

Edward Cullen- the main character in the book. He is a vampire. But he drinks animal blood instead of human blood. “I don’t want to be a monster. P.187“He won’t go outside if there is sunlight with people. “Well, you asked if the sun hurt me, and it doesn’t. But I can’t go out in the sunlight — at least, not where anyone can see. P. 189“He can read other people’s mind except Bella’s. And strangely, he falls in love with her. The only guess I have is that maybe your mind doesn’t work the same way the rest of theirs do. Like your thoughts are on the AM frequency and I’m only getting FM. P.181 he is 17 and he is 17 for a while
Bella-she moves to forks from phoenix. Her parents divorced, she is living with her dad to let her mom travel around with her new husband. She cannot believe that Edward can move so quickly, strong and save her life, after she touch his hands they are cold, etc. Edward Cullen was standing four cars down from me, staring at me in horror. His face stood out from a sea of faces, all frozen in the same mask of shock. “Just before I heard the shattering crunch of the van folding around the truck bed, something hit me, hard, but not from the direction I was expecting.” When they’d lifted me away from the car, I had seen the deep dent in the tan car’s bumper — a very distinct dent that fit the contours of Edward’s shoulders… as if he had braced himself against the car with enough force to damage the metal frame… and with the searching online, she knew Edward is a vampire, instead of scared she falls in love with him. “You are my life. You’re the only thing it would hurt me to lose.” P.474
Jacob- Jacob is given a small role in the first book of the series. He is introduced as the son of Billy Black, an old Swan family friend. When Bella uses him to get information on Edward Cullen and his family, Jacob tells her Quileute legends and introduces her to the idea that Edward is a vampire. He is a werewolf. Bella comes to like Jacob, and he develops a crush on her. "I’m Jacob Black. You bought my dad’s truck" Chapter 1

At section discussing existing works (such as art, literature, music, film) that have similar qualities as the story you read. What other works does this book remind you of? (250 words min.)
This book reminds me, first the new TV serious called vampire dairies. In this show the main character Stefan who is a vampire but the girl who name Elena doesn’t know that at first. Just like twilight, Stefan falls in love with Elena when he first met her. Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated as Stefan's vicious, and malevolent older brother Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) returns with a plan to wreak havoc on the town and a revenge against his younger brother. Both brothers begin to show affection towards Elena, mainly because of her resemblance to there past love Katherine Pierce. It is revealed that Elena is a descendant of Katherine, who eventually returns with plans against the trio. It also reminds me to finish the other books in the serious. In the second book, Edward doesn’t want Bella to hurt more, the Cullen family left, she was upset and met Jacob; find out that he can change into wolf. The wolf family protects Bella from Victoria who is a vampire who drinks human blood. With some kind of misunderstanding, Edward and Bella get back together. In eclipse, the third book of the serious, Bella choose between Jacob and Edward. She agrees to marry Edward. In the last book of the serious, they were on their honeymoon but Bella find out that she is pregnant; with all the trouble they may get, they still keep the kid. The kid has a special ability that she transmitting thoughts to others by touching their skin and penetrating mental shields, the opposite abilities of each of her parents my review of this book~
